Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Khetha account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.

Delete from within the app

The fastest way to delete your account:

• Open the Khetha app and sign in.
• Go to Settings.
• Tap Delete account.
• Confirm your password when prompted.

Once confirmed, your account is immediately deactivated and scheduled for permanent deletion. All of your data is irreversibly purged within 72 hours.

Delete by email

If you can't access the app, email privacy@khetha.app from the address associated with your account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will verify your identity, confirm receipt, and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your account credentials (email and name).
• Your profile, including age, gender, location, and bio.
• Your photos.
• Your matches, likes, and conversations.
• Your preferences and settings.

What may be retained

• A minimal deletion record. We keep a small tombstone record to honour the deletion, in line with our Privacy Policy.
• Legally required records. Limited information (such as transaction records) may be retained only where the law requires it, and only for as long as required.
• Anonymised data. Aggregated or anonymised data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained for analytics.

Before you delete

• Account deletion is permanent. Your account cannot be recovered once deleted, and your matches and conversations are lost.
• Cancel your subscription separately. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. On Android, cancel in Google Play; on the web or iPhone, cancel in the app under Settings → Manage Subscription, before deleting.
